Good day bros...
I drive wira which converted to Evo engine.. I need to
driver quite long distance around 50km (return distance) to go to work.
Traffic condition isn't so kind to me.. it takes me around 1 hour to reach my
office...
I used to use Exedy Semi Racing Clutch (3pucks) that which made my knee making
some noise... so I changed to original soft typed clutch.
However the thing is my clutch seems wore out... sadly I've been used it for
only a year...
I believed that I seldom high rev or racing... but this is reality...
my clutch seemed quite hard after driving for sometime and it seemed that
after at 4k RPM. I felt only the sound increasing but not the power.
I believed that we call it clutch silp...
So I just wondered that... is it reliable to change the
clutch plate only without clutch cover so that I can save up some cash?
but I've heard that it is no good idea... hm.. why?
I guess I can't use racing typed clutch anymore.. but neither
I can't change my clutch every year like this too...
I've heard that there is 'Twin Plate Clutch' which is soft and reliable for
high performance car... but it seems that the price makes me crazy...
So.. let me clearify my questions here...
1. Can I change the plate only without clutch cover so I can
save up some cash? Unmatched New plate and Old cover causes silps
can I skim the cover???
2. Is Twin Plate Clutch is like our normal clutch that once it finished
we have to change the whole clutch set or we can use back certain
parts like covers and so on?
3. Any other way I can get soft typed clutch + reliable condition?
Your precious comments will much appreciated...
TQ in advance bros.
