Procedure In Selling Plate Number....

If u want to sell an Old plate number, what are the steps and procedures....??
I am planning to sell my old plate number from an old lancer car....


any sifoo have experienced it....
plz help me...

No Plate

To interchange number plate, 1 car have to be registered (your old car) &
1 car unregistered (new car).

In order to interchange, both the new & old vehicle have to be under 1 owner's name.

Either the new car in the name of the old's owner or vice-versa....


Both cars then have to be taken for inspection in JPJ in order to change the numbers

wat putra says is really true... im just wondering like those ppl/agents selling nice no plates on mag like motor trader and etc.. how do they actually do it since the new car will be reg on our name whereas the old car with nice number plate is on other owner's name o.. really confuse at times.. :)

why do u need to pay RM10K for something you can do it legally? mind enlight me?
unless 1 of the car is illegal and can't go for inspection. even if that, you don't need RM10K to settle, right?

i think, can just use motorcycles. i heard from my dad, just get someone who wants to buy a new bike, pay him a sum of money, do the transfer of old license plate to the new bike... then get the new license plate and register to the car...

not sure whether this works or not.. but no harm trying.. ^^

hmm.. u sure they can do it for us? whom did u talk to? the anak buah or the boss ar? no wonder those agents on motor trader advertise big big la...

i think wat kelvio says are true loh.. transfer can only be done on reg car to new unreg car...
