Price survey till 15th July 2004

Hv not been to half cut shop for quite sometime.

Just want to survey some force induction half cut price till today.

Anyone can roughly tell me the price for the half cut for

1) Mitsubishi
2) Toyota
3) Daihatsu
4) Nissan

The last I saw one Evo 2 with bodykits asking RM7500 with bodykit. This is without accident infront. :D
If I got money sure buy one :lol:

isn't it always advised that without accident is the ones you shoudn't buy? ie. most probably engine failure.

Mivec 1.6 DOHC 4G92 RM5,000 - RM5,500 for manual transmission

EVO2 at RM7,500 with bodyparts is kinda cheap :)

and, does half cut come gb, seats, dash, breaks? where is a good chopshop in kl to find these goodie engines? sorry for the questions ah...just want to know some prices of stuffs nowadays.

I was at a halfcut shop last week and asked them the prices, VR4 now costs RM4xxx onwards for halfcuts, RS will be a few hundred more compared to 200/220.

wow...seems to have increased in price. and for such an old engine. i wonder how many years of life they have left. guys, ever wonder what the next generation will be using? not many mitsu turbos i hear of nowadays except for the EVO series, the VR42.5ltwinturbo...what else? maybe there are but we do not hear of them here.

any views on this?

last i heard mitsu's going bankrupt dee lo...waiting for big company with loads of cash to save them la....tht's y u don see much development in their turbo series other than evo series.
tht vr4 2.5l twin turbo is called VR-G rite?

MMC mother company damn rich. Mitsubishi in Japan has MHI (Mitsubishi Heavy Industry - the biggest industry company), Mitsubishi Bank, some others like Electronics company... MRE (Mitsubishi Rayon Engineering - part of this company making condom. Thier secret condom industry line is patent one)...

How come Vr4 become so expensive... RM4k+ :(

How much is a Vr4 220 complete engine with gearbox, wiring but exclude ECU?

I got the ECU, if can find cheap cheap, I might consider this. :)

the cheapest way to go turbo is to get e15et and sunny

sunny can get for like 5 k and the engine is less than 1 k plus install
plus this plus that should cost less than 10 k to finish everything

i also wonder y the price of VR4 is getting more expensive nowadays.. i ask the halfcut shop boss, he said those stupid foreigner goreng the price of it wor.. since it is so popular now.. LoL~

it seems US is willing to pay more so most of the vr4s are shipped there for their mitsubitshi eclipse etc. So if we want it, we must pay higher also.
