a pair of bulb covers will do the job. - not so glaring.
also, the light output will be a little white blueish.

bring it to an accessories shop. charges is between RM20-RM40 depending on difficulty. if you have further enquiries please do PM me. Thanks.

hi, im new here,im also interested in the kelvin rating for the bulbs. looks nice, but then im interested in only d2s replacement. im using a harrier, will the color still be the same as urs if its fit inside a projeactor lamps?

Bashin,
refer to post #1 for technical specifications.

chriiz18,
what are u trying to ask?
if u are trying to sell your stuff.. please open a new thread for youself.

sharpener,
Giant Philips HID is one of the model of xenon conversion kit manufactured by philips themself..

hi ftzone, ur d2s replacement bulb is 4300k, but then wats the effect? whitish color? my harrier if not mistaken is also 4300k, but the effect is a bit more yellowish.

We cannot judge brightness by it's color temp as in 4350K,5000K or 8000K
Brightness is measured in lumens.
For best all weather use 4350K is most suitable. that is why most OEM HID are endorsed by luxury cars by using this color temp.
As for cosmetic and for your vehicle to look cool.. higher color temp is preferred.

simple text guideline for color temp output.
4350K - slightly yellowish white
5000K - white
6000K - blue-ish white
8000K - blue
10000K - purple

p/s: JPJ compliant and approval letters are bullshit for the time being.(as at 12th OCT 2005) No such approval letter exists from JPJ as no guidelines have been approved by the ministry. Do not be conned by people stating that their HID is JPJ approved and e.t.c I've personally called JPJ (Seb.Jaya) Bhg.Teknikal En.Abu Bakar and he confirms my queries. To make this HID illegal the process of an act must be implemented in the parliment... to cut story short.. no policeman can issue u a summon when it is not stated illegal to use HID within color temp specifications in our vehicles.

Note: Headlamps other den using yellow or white beams is considered illegal. therefore 10000K HID is still againts the law as the color is not allowed. Modified headlamps are also illegal.
