Here is some tips for all my customers..
It is better u to wash ur surface wit soap and rub using fine sand paper to make sure all oil remove from ur surface. Recommend u to use sponge or medium paint brush and apply to ur surface and just make one layer first and apply another layer if u want it..

Actually what type plastic did u used? i wonder myb there are some oil or dirty thing at ur surface. make sure u use my tips above.
