hey all.

general question regarding intercoolers.

I currently have a top mount intercooler which came stock with my conversion.
The engine is reasonably old so I'm just wondering if age does in fact affect its overall performance and efficiency..

if it does, then would getting a new one of identical size and thickness prove to have significant improvements?

*Engine is stock. So i don't feel the need for a bigger intercooler.

*No i don't want to opt for a front mount intercooler either :proud:

I'm assuming that as with everything, an intercooler will deteriorate with age..
So could someone tell me if this assumption is correct?

Thanks my fellow petrolheads!

:biggrin:engine will, intercooler no! dirty internal and external + improper fins on intercooler will affect!
