But if I let go of the accelerator the sound goes away, even though I'm still doing 140KM/H (after letting go of the gas pedal).All the people I sent to have clarified the following:- all mountings are in good condition- drive shaft is ok- all bushing are also okI don't have any symptoms of driveshaft giving away such as jutters or vibration on acceleration or vice versa.The same sound also appears when I am driving straight on a highway where the road is not so even, noticed it comes when the road is bumpy (you know the very tiny small bumps you can find on our highways).Because of this, I truely suspect its the suspension. Unfortunately all they do is bounce the car down a few times say it is fine.I believe there is more then absorbers and springs to the suspension. I believe there are the bushings for the mountings and bearings as well. Could this be the culprit?Is there any shop which specializes in suspension, who will check it throughly?Sorry for the long thread. You guys are my last hope, or else i really have no idea what to do anymore. BTW, the car is a Volvo S40 year 2000.Thanks guys. Cheers.</blockquote>
