hey ppl, darn.. my car alignment is cacat already.. F**K the potholes! F**K ALL THE POTHOLES IN MALAYSIA!
 
Don't we all ..... Especially when you are running 45, 40 or hell even 35-series tyres you will feel how bad malaysian roads are.

Better get it fixed, Nicole before it starts wearing your brand new tyres too.
 
Well, let say if you are driving a straight and on even road, does you steering pull away (either to the left or right)? If it's just a minor tilt on your steering, I guess it's ok. If it's enough to bother you correcting your steering all the time, I would re-align (it's only RM20-25 anyway). Do a speed check as well, like drive thru to maybe 110 or 130km/h, see for vibration, whether you need wheel balancing.

Don't know how BIG of a pot-hole you hit, but sometime large hole may affect the alignment and balance too. Further, you have like (was it 17" wheels now?) bigger wheels, rite.
 
it's tilting more to the left.. darn.. still it's okay but then my steering is tilted.. not nice to see.. haha

I know it could be annoying to look kinda driving sideways, but only going straight.

If it's not pulling, your steering may just need to re-centered. No biggies .... Happens to some of us with modded momo's, or aftermarket steerings.
 
okay! thanks... :) so how else can i add more hp to my car? i know to change engine OR car BUT i got no money :p any suggestions?
 
That depends how much and what you requires. If it's an everyday car for the road, I would recommend you do enormous mods. You have to have a car you can live with in the hot sun, traffic jams etc.

Since it's a Spectra, and auto too rite, maybe simple (cheaper) mods like a ram-pod (air-filter, K&N or other Jap brands), some good spark-plugs (NGK or Denso Iridium is good enuff), and a mild exhaust with straight-thru mufflers, preferably mandrel-bend tubes (though I heard it's hard to find someone that does mandrel bending in MY). It should free-up some hp's. That's the first I would go for, personally. Drive around abit after these before you go for other performance mods.

Btw, how the head-lights of your car? Found anyone to polish it yet?
 
haven't polish yet.. i'm using NGK already and i changed to a S-type muffler.. my friend said it's better on auto cars
 
Well, seemed like you have 3/4 of the mods I would do. I am not too familiar to the S-type muffler ... I think it's normally used for NA, which require some back-pressure at lower rev.

NGK's pretty good plugs ... Abang-adik to Denso's. Well, you may need a good hi-flow air-filter since you have increased your exhaust. Btw, is your exhaust from extractor back or just the muffler? If not, maybe consider a good (mild) extractor and pipe all the way to your muffler. Be sure to ask around whether you should do a 4-2-1, or 4-1 extractor. The latter (if I am not mistaken) gives a higher end. Anything after this would be expensive. Maybe you should then shift focus to the handling (suspension), and braking instead.

im sorry ..im technically clueless about modifying cars. so cant give u a full proof suggestion.. hehehe.

morning! i think i have to focus on my suspension and braking now.. thought changing brakes.. it's making noises when i brake.. darn! think coz of the powder.. and when i speed and then braked hard, my car is abit wobbly.. hmmm.. i wonder what's the prob.. what do u think?
