wat u think new kenari RS 'daihatsu move style'?
the day i saw in news paper, all body part 90% same like Move.
 
than after this no more hiding in the bush for old version Daihatsu Move Fanatic hahahaha..now the bodykit legal and cheap already..
 
I suppose thats what Kenari owners want. Before the RS was launched, many were fitting in aftermarket bodykits. Perodua is merely reacting to buyer's needs and therefore they start to assemble one and sell to buyers. A very good move indeed. Didn't need a genius to figure it out and i'm just wondering why isn't Proton doing it.

That is what almost every manufacturer is doing. Just look at Civic, Accord, Altis and lots more. They just give it a minor face lift which most of the time means fitting new lights and bumper. As i said, its not rocket science. Everyone does it except Proton.
 
Yup, very much agree with prodigy. Perodua have shown many times that it reacts to the market very well. If that's what people want, might as well give it to them stock and sell some more cars, get people's attention on a model again.

Another reason might be because of the new upcoming model based on the current Daihatsu Charade. Manufacturers usually start shifting "special" versions of soon to be replaced models.

nah.. proton also got face lift... just that.. they are all microscopic changes.... ie, front grill, rear lights.... thatz all i think.

that 2 always changes for iswara, wira, waja, and satria...

ok la, there are some bumper changes... :P
 
Besides, more than often, they screw up these microscopic changes. If not mistaken there's this new design of rear cluster lights for Waja, which to be honest looks really fucked. Just wondering what was going thru the mind of these people.

can't agree more....maybe the designer was having a fever at that time and he/she was having a thermometer in his/her mouth.
 
If perodua is good in responding to what consumers want, we might see new Myvi with Passo kit selling as standard in future.

yeah, when proton were busy selling cars back in the 90s, they had forgotten to serve a facelift to their cars.

Proton Saga Iswara for example lasted from 1992-2002 or 10 years. in 2002 it received a facelift and was called the LMSS (silver). in 2003 known as the LMST (keta kebal).

Proton Wira had a minor facelift in 95, and it stayed on like that for about 9 yrs before the SE dan CE models came in.

for record, over the same period Corolla had new models changed 3 times with 2 facelift.

92 corolla AE101 SEG
94 corolla AE101 SEG (white lamp)
95 corolla AE111 SEG (smaller)
99 corolla AE111 SEG (with airbags, crystal lamp)
2002 corolla ZZE122 1.8G

Toyota = 5
Proton = 0

i think the kenari RS is not really that bad.
1st, ppl can get it and without converting the bodykit to become a Move.
2nd, it looks much cooler than a normal kenari.

but, the only think i cant take it is...

Such ashamed !

I saw some photos of a Myvi concept that has a lot of Passo bits. Pretty nice.
 
There's supposed to be a myvi sport which has the passo kits. Go to my online photo gallery at http://www.phototaker.fotopic.net and go to the car show gallery. I have the pic of myvi sport there. I also have the pic of myvi turbo AWD.
