So now using 205/45R17? If yes, it is because the diameter is bigger by 2.48% so you feel pick up is heavy....

1st time change rim using 205/40/17 tyre..
bad choice..in two month 2 tyre sidewall crack..tyre pressure ok..
go back to tyre shop they said sidewall crack cant claim..
so no choice have to increase thickness..now using 45 series tyre..
running ok for now..yes pickup really suck..u know campro auto how the pickup..
fc also suck..at meter show 8.5l/100km something like that..

Why sidewall crack? Cannot claim usually if hit potholes or curb the embankment.
I have friend using 40 series without problem?

just park normally..check tyre pressure also ok..
but one day cek sidewall crack..not hit any pothole or curb also..
go back to tyre shop..they said send to factory back try to claim back..
few days later tyre shop call sidewall crack not covered..only defect on tyre tread covered..
brand also forget..maybe that tyre sidewall too soft..

In future try to claim yourself. If go through tyre shop normally they reject. Claim yourself if tyre do not show sign of curbing or hit pothole and rims at crack area no damage. Then at importer/distributor office make noise and complaint....haha
