its nothing like vtec system. vtec actually improves low end power, without it you either have to choose high end power or low end power, not both.


i dunno much about citroen engine, but if it doesn't have any cam phasing or cam profiling tech, you are pretty much stuck with power in one power band (but you can tune it to your liking).


personally i do prefer power on the top, yet got just enough power to move the car at low rpm. cuz when need power just pop it into 2nd gear and all the way whack 7k+rpm.
