With the release of the third installment in the Transformers series, Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon, just around the corner, Naza Quest, the official distributor of Chevrolet vehicles in the country, is holding a roadshow in conjunction with it.

Themed ‘Transform the Future- Get Intimate with Chevrolet,’ the roadshow is currently ongoing at The Oval in One Utama Shopping Center and will end on 12 June 2011. Visitors to the roadshow will get the chance to view a 22-feet tall replica of Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots, as well as a Chevrolet Camaro SS, the vehicle form of Bumblebee. Apart from that, the Cruze Special Edition and Captiva will also be on display alongside Harley Davidson, Ducati, Aprilia and Vespa motorcycles.

However, the Chevrolet Colorado show truck that is also on display could steal away the attention. Making its first appearance in the country, the showtruck is the same as the one unveiled at the Bangkok Motor Show.

Built on the Chevrolet Global Platform, the Colorado comes with some fluid design cues, safety features and uncompromising capabilities that will suit the global market. The show truck features an extended cab with suicide-doors. Sitting at all four corners are 20-inch wheels fitted with off road tyres. Motivation options include a choice of 2.5-liter or 2.8-liter turbo-diesel engines.
