guys , anyone of u using mtx road thunder subwoofer?

http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/subwoofers/roadThunder.cfm

is it good? a taukeh intro me the RT12-44 which is dual coil. and he says it is very good! and he quote me Rm 450 with box. guys , i need ur opinion.

i'm not using this and have not heard one. why not u use the Thunder 8000 series? a single 10" can pump your heart out besides I don't believe in small light magnets for subs ;)

yeah i know the sledge hammer series is very very powerfull.BuT the price of a 10" slegde hammer subwoofer will also pump my heart out ... but anyway thanX... :)

erm... do u have any other brand and also model to intro to me?

it's still below rm1k + the box. look for errr... boey tan... oit boeyyyyyyyyy... ;)

no need thunder series, mtx are known for easily driven sub. i was shock of finding out that my mtx sub magnet are bloody small and light weight too... wait til u put in the endlosure and blast it..... and guess what? my mtx 3000 (if not mistaken) are being pumped with a 120w amp only.....and its like the heart want fall out arleady.

kewl... another happy MTX user. eventually what you said is true. I saw a few friends having the 12 inch with small magnet still can kick arse!!!

but those who had the 8104 were much better... deep deep bass they are... yessss.... ;)

there's a tt this friday 1/7/2005 at errr... Ming Tien food court. If it permits I think a lot of MTX subbies users will be there. You can listen to how it kicks, oh ya note that they're all on SQ term but with the Thunder, anything is possible :D;)

icecube , do u mean urs is 4500 series? how much u bought it ? yeah the taukeh also said tat road thunder and also 4500 series only needs very small watt amp to pump it up... but between road thunder and 4500 series , the taukeh suggest to buy road thunder series , he say RT series more powerfull than 4500 ... do u guys think so?

icecube , can u post ur enclosure pic to let me see?
