use any synthetic oil is enough for daily driven car la...
don waste so much money.... somemore is oil name
competition... ehehehe...

Try TOTAL 10w50. it's not bad... kuching can get it
for RM120 4Litres. Dunno about KL tough.

But i'm using castrol 10w40 semi synthetic only. RM75.
itchy itchy wanna swap to fully synthetic...

I've tried, in chronological order:

1. Castrol RS
2. Shell Helix Ultra
3. Motul 300V
4. Q8 F1

So far, in my opinion in order of preference:

1. Q8 F1 & Motul 300V
3. Shell Helix Ultra
4. Castrol RS

The Q8 and Motul makes the engine respond slightly better, engine feels smoother at low rpms. Also oil temp much slower to increase when whacking the car. So far I would rate Q8 and Motul equally, followed by Shell and then Castrol.

;) I personally think that Motul is still the best. It really smooth out your engine.........and makes it run nicely. Try it for youself....then you will know.....Where do you guys usually service your car to get your engine oil changed?

Q8 F1 10-50. so far very satisfied with it. I heard synthetic oils (ester based). Ester based oil i heard only Q8,Motul, Chemlube & Torco.

I am not sure what is the difference between ester and non ester based, but i heard ester based is better. Any ideas?

Motul maybe fully imported, hence the price. Torco also. Not sure about Q8 and Chemlube. All others i think bottled locally.

The 2020 City goes to town with new everything, including the much torqued about 253nm i-MMD hybrid engine. Looks pretty good in its RS trim as well.

Honda Malaysia hasn't revealed much else until its official launch in Q4 but judging from the teaser car, showing off its lanewatch cam and prominent windshield cam, the City seems set to get Honda Sensing which will likely include adaptive cruise...
