Hey people..new member here..how you all doin..found myself a new hobby..
well am still new to car business so ive got a few quest..
just got a gti/evo 3 from a friend..

1)previous owner fixed it with a mines ecu chip>..want to know what i can do to it..and how much the chip can control..
many ppl have been recommending e-manage???
totally lost...:]

2) My clutch has been slipping lately...eg at 3rd gear the rev feels like its flying higher than the moving car..currently fitted with a tripple plate exedy..
was wondering which clutch should i buy as i use the car for daily use and mostly for short distances..car is runnin at 260 horses..
(any recommendation...trinity..exedy..)
thanks loads bros...

there are a few choices
mines ecu chip is a static chip, u cant tune it up

my question is simple, what have you done to the car to deserve a E-manage :D

as for the clutch, i will alwiz go for Exedy Cover with custom made full race clutch disc , no kaki kaki like exedy, its full plate like Cusco , Os Giken and Ogura

hehe well it has a custom manifold with a westgate and pistons all still stock..intake stock..TD05 turbine..
havent done much actually..any indication when il need to upgrade..?

As for the clutch thanks..didnt understand the last part though..:hmmmm:

wat jinkl was trying to say was, dont use those 3 puck 4 puck clutch, use the full disc clutch, and the clutch cover use exedy, as its not that hard to press the pedal for daily use...sry but i need to borrow ur thread

jinkl, im using exedy cover and 3 puck, been using 2k km already but the clutch still slip at first and 2 gear mostly, i've locked the 4wheel to 2wheel, even weld the inside shaft, i cant really tell wether its the tyre's slipping or clutch, and at times the clutch pedal becomes very soft, specially morning hours, any ideas ah bro? because now i feel the car like not much power only, oh yeah, ori ecu got boost cut? using evo4 engine with intercooler pipings, wastegate at 1.1bar and standard ecu, tyres 235/40/17 s.drive...
