So for example, my car is auto gear also not related rite?
Mean if change to LT4 i use MAP , the original airflow sensor can dont use, mean if i BOT my car, even i dont have the air filter piping(example compressor inducer mouth just use NET) also ok"???:biggrin:

Yes bro.. can put in a net on the turbo inducer... But not advisable. Cause the net does not filter sufficiently clean. means more service and more TB cleaning.

i give an example like just put a net on turbo inducer.. which easy to understand which the airflow sensor from my original car no need to be used... because i do some calculation of which turbo suitable for my car, the map i plot which most suitable is GT2876R, which is ar70 comp housing and 4inch inlet... if i still on original airflow sensor, it must be 2.3" and the airfilter is 6inch open pod... then the piping should be 6" reduce to 2.3" then expand to 4" inlet for turbo...
Thanks for the information... but before i ask at other thread, some say can use MAP with LT4 but the MAF original still a MUST to install back to give the original ECU run normally..
any idea

thanks

Hi all, anyone tuned a bolt-on 4 throttle system on a 1.8 mivec with Microtech before? How's the idling with air con and low-to-mid range torque? Am thinking of such a set-up but too many uncertainties on the tuning result...hope someone here can help advise..cheers

can be done no probs..
with aircond 700rpm without aircond 920rpm
no issues at all...
but with stock cam shaft..

if racing cams..max high lift with aircond 1200rpm no aircond 1300rpm.

yes done before..
no probs.

Yeah bro... u could use the MAP sensor only. But do note that the LT4 is only an A/F management. It has no control over the ignition. No problem.

But if you want to alter the ignition, u will need to have a separate ignition controller...

Joe,

We met before...i'm Ang's friend, satria 1.8 mivec..what's expected power increase with stock cams & 11:1 CR? also, how's the low-midrange torque? read so much that 4 throttle will kill the low end torque...

ic.
well my suggestion is dont waste your time on 4throttle..
we've tried it already makes not much hp difference maybe worst..
unless your intake is in front like the k20a then cooler air..now at the back no way sufficient air will go into the 4throttles..
