does anyone know wats the market price for 4G92 non-mivec halfcut?

not advisable to take this 4G92 DOHC non mivec
very very difficult to find the spare part
last saturday i go through 8 half cut shop also don't have this engine!
 
better go get mivec engine
if take non mivec better take 4g92p
it is cheaper n easy to get spare part

or if you dead die want a dohc just get a 4G92P and tukar the engine head to 4G93 DOHC
 
just use mivec la..more better...can feel the diferent..
if now you are using 4g92p,then change to 4g92 dohc (non mivec) not a big different..better,but you dont expect much la..like can tapau 4g93 or anything..

mivec better..like softmuffin said,just change the head to dohc head...if you dead die want it Dohc la..

Excuse me, may I know what is a 4g92p? Mivec 4g92 and other 4g92 got any difference?
 
4g92 hard to find wat spareparts? i tot they can be fitted with any 4g9X series....

unless u wanna find ori 4g92 parts

4g92p = 1.6 SOHC from proton cars
4g92 = 1.6 DOHC
4g92 Mivec = 1.6 DOHC MIVEC, valve variable timing

you can feel a bit different only if you change from 4G92P sohc to dohc using 4G91 Dohc or 4G93 dohc head. More to high RPM

Myself go all the way to MIVEC, can really feel the different.

Myself also want to go MIVEC but now is not the rite times.

Really feel good when you take your MIVEC and ram it to 5K rpm and above, shock nya

BTW, if you really can't tahan just go for the 4G92P + DOHC head first lah. Like me hehe.
not bad coz you can easy ram it above 5K rpm. not like sohc...

very cool engine for 4G92 non mivec ... for me, go to 4G93 NA is better :D
 
my forman quoted RM 3800 for installation of an 4G92 DOHC mitsubishi into wira
no rear disc
 
4G92 non mivec - cool engine
16Valve 1.6 not bad not bad if dohc lagi power.

but of coz 1.8 is better but roadtax is a bit higher then 1.6 lor

well...this is my diff point of view...
4g92 dohc from mitsu is way much more powerful than 4g92p..
just like 1.5 4g91 dohc wit proton 1.5....

my bro's ride...satria wit 4g92 dohc...just change 1 intake manifold n T.body 2 mivec 1....
can play wit 4g93...

like 4g91 can take 4g92p...but i play wit my bro's 4g92 dohc...lansung no chance....

talking bout mivec(sorry mivec's bro...just telling my opinion...no offence..)
4 the price u paying...5k...its better 2 go 4 4g93t GSR....at least still can play wit b16a...mivec ar...nonit say u guys also know the result...
unless of coz...ur car is 1.3 chasis...which means u can onli go 4 1.6 conversion...
 
1.6 is run with high compression ...maa :D

so power deliverly of cause different . 4G93 is good on torque

But I heard 4g92 runs on low compression in some engines... Mine a 4g92p is a low compression, going to convert to 4g93T, i think...

But when changing an engine to a better and high power one, remember to check ur brakes(tahan makan), chassis(tahan the power) and stuff(etc.) to prevent accidents and JPJ quick and cheap approva coz there is no place for them to play u and for personal safety, 2-in-1 package, although the $$ is more...
