Hi guys, as I know many of car is running AFM. Is there any other car running MAP system?
what is the different between this 2 system in case of efficiency and advantages?
What will be the different if same Hi-Flow air filter use on MAP and AFM?

afm-air flow meter/svt 20v....idling problem/rpm fluctuation
map-manifold absolute pressure/16v/20v bt....converts an amount of pressure/vacuum into an electrical signal and its sensor checks for variations in intake-manifold pressure....no
problem at all

AFM has slight restriction due to the fact that the flap is 'there' in d middle of the suction of air... but if i'm not mistaken, AFM has a greater accuracy interms of sensing airflow... hmm..

if AFM is greater accuracy, then why Toyota want to come out MAP at later better version? don't make any sense right?

yeah i think MAP is cheaper cos the sensor seems smaller and less complicated :D, btw how to change AFM to MAP?

Really MAP is cheaper and less complicated? then all the new car should be using it already right? what is currently all the fuel injection car using? AFM ? MAP ?

I think may be it is expensive, then only less car using right? anybody know?
