Hello,

Wanna ask if anyone had successfully change their lower arm bush to those better grade like nylon, pu etc

To my understanding, the best grade of lower arm, 555.
Cost around rm180 per pc.

It's kinda wasteful and costly, to change the lower arm just because of the faulty bush.

Superpro.

Yes usually its the bush that wears out @ lower arm. I've went through 3 sets in my current 10 year old car (not a Perdana). I've already bought Superpro but haven't had the time to put it in. Maybe after the current set koyak.

Mind sharing how much you spend for them?
Complete set?
Is the size/dimension the same for all bushes?

Full set, about RM400 or so, bought from Australia -- friend hand carry back for me. Yes its a plug and play solution specific for the car.

For your application, I think you can contact local Super Pro distributor.

Hey, Rm400 is much affordable.
Do you happen to have the part number? I can order from Australia.

How many pieces does it consist?
The last time I check with local superpro, was told it at least cost rm3k and above.

You can google up Lan Engineering in Ampang, they do custom PU bushes as well as drift house in USJ1.

Pricing depends on the diameter of the bushings.

Yeah. Tried but he's not answering to calls nor messages.

I know he does it.. but...

I'm located in johor. .

This is off topic, but I would like to share this anyway. When changing a lower arm bush (or any suspension bush), make sure the car is on the ground before tightening the bolts. If you can't do this, jack up the lower arm before tightening the bolts. Most of the time the foreman just want to quickly finish his job and skip this step. This is to avoid 'twisting' the bush more than it's normal range of travel and make it wear prematurely. I learned this the hard way, had to frequently replace the lower arm bushes of my civic almost every year. :banghead:

Actually Im very keen to know more from ixeo..
Rm400 is very attractive.

Mind sharing some pictures of the bush, part number if any??

hmmmm..... but I don't have that problem. I remember mechanic tighten when car still on the jack. Used for many years.......:smokin:

I won't justify between custom and SuperPro. It's a matter of your budget and choice.
Had mine done at LKH Automotive Engineering ampang. Delivered the arm at 11am, ready for collection same day 5pm.

Don't think they have the bushes ready, from what i know once they receive the arm only then begin measure sizes. On the spot production.

How about rubber oem bushes replacement? My car's lower arm need to change whole piece so I'm thinking if Lan can mod oem bushes to fit.

I believe it's possible.

Over in jb, they don't do front lower arm bush replacement.
Only for the rear. And the replacement is only rubber, stock from proton.
