my bro's civic is Vi version ler... but engine head is "HONDA" only.
it do have the 3 mode, eco, normal and sport.

Dun you guys think used EK is realiable ? My dad keep asking me to buy new car instead but I love to see myself own an EK ... nice shape , nice design and powerful Vtec .
Any guides to spot check those used EK ?

It all depends on the previous owner. Buying a good 2nd car depends on luck as well.

Powerful EK? unless it is an original EK4 or a converted EJ (local EK). The local EK is not powerful.

ermm... i was told it has vtech... coz it is Vi and has the 3 mode.
do feel the engine sound change at 5k rpm... but still weak... hardly went to 7k rpm. :(

after few hundred meters acceleration... it reach 140km/h but arrive home with quite high temperature. ahahahaha....

Yup. but only SOHC....not DOHC......

It only has 130HP.... minus power loss to auto-gear = 130 - 30% = 91HP....

if the steering can change to larger diameter would
be better... err.. i mean the grip diameter. not the
