"18" is the size of the compressor wheel.
"G" is the type of compressor wheel = Twin Fin.

Mine is an up-grade from vr4.
Std vr4 td05 used 14B that is single fin compressor wheel.
VR4 rs, Evo 1 and Evo 2 use Small 16G
Evo 3 use large 16G.

To me the rest is basically the same.
