If u find from ZTH, got one forummer called joeker...he did a home made silencer for his muffle using...water "kong" :D

did mine also .. same like joekers idea that jaywat said.. measure ur muffler tip diameter and get a stainless steel mug what can fit into ur muffler tip.. as for mine i used the 7cm diameter mug to DIY... those mug very cheap wan .. i bought mine 3 bucks.. remove the handle and drill hole on da mug. i dont have such a big drill bid therefore i drill a couple of holes instead of 1 big hole.. then i will have to drill a hole on ur exhaust tip there to screw the mug also .. otherwise when u travel ur car will shot that mug to the car behind u.. :P drilling the hole on the exhaust might be a lil bit tough if u DIY the drilling process.. the muffler's steel is damn hard, took me almost 30 minits to drill ... ~_~... or else u could send to those exhaust shop ask them to drill for u..
after installing, the effect of the muffler is having a quite almost like stock exhaust sound during idling.. normal driving still okie .. when u rev.. then the bassy sound will be there.. ^_^.. for testimonials on this DIY silencer u could pm and ask from these zth member, they sit inside da car and listen before " escaflowne" & "mindysy" &"chef_akina"..

crazykid& khguan: yes thats what i wanna do anyway. actually planning to put back stock muffler, but twin tip.. but then last minute teringat jeoker post before using mug to make silencer ma, then i try lor... mine is just 1.3 using such a muffler reduce my back end pressure alot and i lose alot of power during low end .. of cos it enable me to play at high rpm ler but i malas lerrrr.. fedup with the loud noise and playing at high rpm aledi ... i just drill the whole on other places rather than having a huge wan in the middle only ..i guess its just the same lerrr... its like rather than using 1 big muffler single tip.. u can alwiz go for the smaller tip but twin tip.. i guess the amount air passes tru the muffler should be just the same rite? (not sure whether what i assume is right or not , i not science student so i dunno how two count with formula lerr)
anyway before this many many holes pattern.. i tried before making a big hole in the middle (around 1.5" diameter) the effect of the noise, like matt rempit liddat.. more like engine knocking sound like that.. the sounds is terrible.. maybe cos i dont have a pipe which suppose to be welded to the big hole and link to the center of the muffler gua.. but im pretty satisfy with this 1 now lerrr.. power still there.. no disturbance, FC remain same.. noise level reduce.. happy enuff with it .. ^_^

hahah not really la .. my car not black color also .. but then not bad la.. even during high rev the sound is okie okie wan .. not very loud ... can become stealth overtaker sometimes ler.. :P but then i dunno laa.. that chef_akina and escaflowne ferlow said that during high rev this silencer produces a sound similar to wastegate sound .. i not sure about it cos i myself dont really know how a real wastegate sounds like anyway .

during low and mid nothing wan .. during high err.. something like that laaa.. psshhhhh like air forcing to come out at high pressure liddat.. ^_^ but then not like bov laa.. cos as long as i maintain high rev the sound continues.

I guess it sounds like those turbo cars with stock mufflers- FFFFSSSHHHHHH, right?

Next upgrade- DIY a cable with a flap to this muffler tip and linked to the cabin for adjustable backpressure and noise! ^_^

For smaller diameter of the tip, you can actually look for the motorcycle or bicycle bearing. Just stuck it into the hole. and put 2 small screws at the back to prevent it from flying out. pshhhh pshhh sound too. But don't try it on stock s-flow muffler lar..

wahhh stock muffler aledi the back end pressure quite strong wor .. add bearing somemore .. then the resistance at the muffler mer even more than stock .. can or not gah? later like those exhaust kena sumbat banana n after a while engine will kong wan wor ..
