Honda EK-9 Type-R

Hey, wanna ask.

How many Original EK9 Type-R are there in Malaysia? Most of the EK (e.g EK-4) are already being modified to EK-9.

The market price value is ..? RM80K+? Year?

well.. easy to check if its ori or not..

real EK9

-no rear wiper.
-red and black scheme bucket seats (head rest has a hole in the centre)
-5 nuts for tyre (if i not mistaken)
-front wheel smaller den rear
-slight brownish tint on glass (if i not mistaken)

if u wanna ask why i so gila? becos i planned to buy one.. but.. after that i think its overpriced for a 10+years old car.. still.. its damn nice.. ;)

all of this can be taken from an ori ek9 to convert a stock ek/ej, only way to find out is through the chasis code or through the AP. i think...

wrong. the bucket seats only comes in red. both front & rear wheels r of the same size.

they are consider as bucket, full red.... 5 holes yes, front rear same size yes

it is Recaro Seats to be exact.

It is difficult to know a converted ones compared to the original EK9. Of course if the converted ones did a proper job. Handling is different.

Sure way to know:
Chasis Number.
AP Documentation

i have never seen or even heard about someone, who know someone, who know a guy, who is this other guy who owns an ori EK9.... but thats just me...
Coverted ones or EK4's plenty...

wrong. the bucket seats only comes in red. both front & rear wheels r of the same size.

HONDA TYPE-R SIFOO HAS SPOKEN...!!!!....hahaha.....anyway, type-r interior all comes in Red ler.....even the carpets n door trims r red.....of coz, all this can b bought n swapped....i guess the best way to know is from the chassis n AP number....if those 2 have even been counterfeited, then tough luck ler....

apart from AP & chassis, there r many telltale signs... one of it is the rear lower arm bar. the other is the rear suspension housing.

easy to find out only mah..
1st when u c tat car make sure u write a short message N stick on tat car's front mirrors say tat..."is this original civic tyre R?"but plz dun forgot to write ur hp number... if YES..then ask him to call n tell u lor...if NO then ask him to call u oso but,u must tell the fellow better get a original 1 lor..bcoz u wan to c n make sure his car is ORIGINAL CIVIC TYRE R.

and wtf with the front and rear wheel not same size???i m new to this.who told u this?
