Greetings to all Honda City owners.

How's it going? Would like to make a shout out to all proud owners (or future owners) of the 2009 Honda City (3G in Malaysia / 5G Worldwide) who are interested to join us at the Honda City Connection Club (HC³). We are of course a pretty new club (circa Jan 2009), but our numbers are certainly growing. To date, we've got at least 20+ members and we're looking to expand our reach.

I guess if you have a passion for your Honda, and would love to discuss and know more about what you can do for your ride (e.g. modifications and car care) over a cuppa teh tarik and Maggi goreng, then you should join us. We're just easy-going individuals with similar interests.

So far we've had managed to organised 2 successful TT sessions together with Team City and will be looking to organise another one in the coming weeks. For those interested in joining us in our endeavours, please feel free to PM me or drop a reply in this thread.

Well, how we differentiate ourself from TeamCity ("TC") is simple. As TC reaches out to generally all generations of the City, we at HC³ exclusively cater to those owners or prospective owners of the just launched current generation (2009) Honda City. We are of the opinion that since the platform of the current model is vastly different from that of the 3G/4G version that some sort of differentiation should be there as the issues experienced by these owners would differ from the previous models. As such, the club would serve as a channel for those interested individual to discuss their joy and grouses of the car... in a more informal manner.

Although we are a stand-alone club, we do have affiliations with TeamCity whereby both clubs participates in each other's events such as unofficial TT sessions to hillclimbs up to Genting and also leverage on each other's knowledge of the City. Our short-term goal is to ensure that fellow members get the best deals, discounts on accessories, mods & car care specifically for the 5G City.

P/s: So if you're looking for a club with more flexibility and enjoy discussing your ride with individuals with similar interest over a cuppa coffee or tea, then this for you.
