Help on Perdana V6 Twin Turbo

i just raised my hood so that my rear turbine does not overheat,
for past 6 years was working fine until sold the car.

Also want ask regarding turbo,when engine cold its more power,after like 30min drive,feel less respond.Acceleration abit slow..Wondering why.

Cold air intake got imitation cheap one and expensive one selling at kakimotor etc._which one i shud go? Mushroom type.Both look same actually.Any much different ori vs fake?

The mushroom air filter in engine compartment is an open pod only. CAI have to lead the intake to out of engine compartment like under the bumper for cool air

I was using the original HKS mushroom, but the ori filter is expensive RM50, the imitation only RM7-10 at that time. seriously looks 99% the same ori vs fake.
fake can be used provided u change the filter everytime u service your car.

can also but difficult to dry as its 3 layers. since my costs was only rm7, change twice a year as the car only driven on weekends.

Jack rear of your car.. There's a U channel at the middle of the tank..Or it uses 2 oil pump iinm..

Btw do u always boost when u get rm260 full tank?

Last time driving 6a12 manual manage to clock around 200km avrge in town driving. That was 20 liter fill up.

With after market fuel return regulator? My VR last time set 3 bar got 280km only from full tank. Took out can do 320km.....lol

since you just got your car, I can tell its not at it's best condition.

best is to send for an overhaul..
or a good check to see what need to be replaced.

Hai Guys,Just wanna Update,i changed muffler 3inch.the fuel consuption is better now.before this used original v6 piping 2.5inch.! and another problem occured when we accelerate rpm around 5,feel like no fuel.sedut2.then if never tekan drive normal ok! it's occured after changed the muffler to 3inci piping only! wondering what's the problem! :(

Nice, must be happy the fuel gauge didn't drop so fast..hahaha..
V6 original piping is around 2"-2.2"...

Accelerate = on boost?..I face similar issue..But that's due to not enough fuel supply.

Ur tt has aftermarket fuel pump/fuel regulator?
