Patch all latest security patches from Microsoft.
Make sure your virus install with latest patern and peform a scan.

download adware or other similiar spyware detection software to scan and delete any spyware installed in your machine.

If the above mentioned failed, try to open your casing and relocate the memory slots by swapping the memory to different slot.

Also, check if any driver causing the problem, remember.. not always the NEW driver are more efficient, sometimes backward one version might solve your problem.

halo...i think ur pc kena virus lerr...
u said u format it right? then u straight away go online without patching it right? then most probably kena virus or worm or something bad...
pc restart count down, congratulation, u have been effected by Blaster worm...go look for the removal patch from microsoft website ...hahaha...u solved it b4 doenst mean u won kena again ( coz ur xp baru install without the patch maa)...u won believe how easy u could get infected by it if u din patch ur xp when u go online

next time make sure u got all the patches backup, then after format it, patch it before u go online...

well if u think the dialer prog is causing the prob then jst use the win xp's one.

if that dsnt work maybe u have virus or spyware
then use a antivirus prog or spybot cleaner

if that dsnt work
do a clean installation of windows.
followed by updating win
then installing antivirus prog

use a firewall
