my budjet = rm300/pc

RM245/pc for 205/45/16 RS2 in sunway? Thats cheap. inclusive of balancing and allignment?

yup, includes balancing & alignment
cheap ? good good. Advertised at lelong.com.my. check it out
They have two shops there, sama area as KSP & N1

But do check on the date of production of the tyre. Wouldnt wanna buy an old tyre for just a slightly cheaper price. If you do get the RS2, please post an update here on the date of manufacture and price. Might consider getting another pair :_:

that is really cheap.. i bought for 280 per pc.

not bad .. soft compound.. good grip.. conner also no prob.

just that fast worn out.

yea got mine for RM275/pc. Cant really try yet cos put the tyre at the rear. but the compound is soft :_:

yeah, it was on my mind to check the mfg date too,
the other 16" they offered
Hankook V8 rs Rm217
Hankook HR2 Rm 176
Kumho ecsta 711 RM 176

Thanks for the inputs guys.

Guys, I heard that Hankook Ventus R-S2 Z212 design was licensed from Yokohama so that they could copy the AD07 thread design for the Ventus R-S2 Z212

I wonder if the tyre compound is the same with Yokohama's AD07? If it is, then it's really worth it!

I've read some reviews on this Hankok Ventus R-S2 Z212, and some say it is as good as Falkens.

yesterday one tyre shop quoted me RM430 for Hankook RS II 215/40/R17 per piece..if 215/45/R17 then is RM400 if not mistaken....

the highest range in hankook tyre if not mistaken....

just fitted a pair of rs2 235/45-17" to my car... frankly speaking there is nothing much to shout about... i bought it at rm420 a pc here in tawau, sabah. for road tyre, it is still no where to match with the federals if were to compare product around that price range...

if i have a choice, i would get the federals instead...it couldnt reli hold my car when boost kicks in on my 1st and 2nd gear

bro how the rs2 tyre performance ah?federal s595 ka?how the s595 tyre performance ah good ka?

yes.federal is good... however after i bought my last pair at the shop they unable to bring in anymore their supplier doesnt carry federals anymore. so i got no choice but to use the hankook instead.

the rs2 is a very normal tyre... softer side compound... but straight line grip is not too good.. it wear faster than normal road tyre but it perform isnt similar to any semi slick at all
