PIMPIN,

anyway bb, can u change your clutch.. it's hard to drive for me!! hehe

Aha! Pimpin, so ur the owner of that sweet bysdblue GTR, Vspec2 summore + mods, nice.. congrats man, join the club.
And the answer is, no mate, I wanna keep my stock wing :)

Thanks dude..

JaHaX - no I don't live in Bangsar but I work in Dsara Heights. Live in town which is convenient enough.

Nicole - yeah rebuilding the Spec C first and once that is done, the GTR. But I heard Russ is even more of a monster. His car I meant.

what do u have in mind for the GTR? :_:

Monster? Dude, ive only got 1 car, you have 3 + 1 later! my gawd.. :)

No man, I have 3, if I do get the M3 I'll definately have to compromise and sell one. But that is still ages away and I may not even get it if circumstances change, for instance, God forbid I get married or something.

End of the day, work hard and play harder. Good financial planning begins young I guess. neever had a credit card, never will.

not sure yet, as of now I'm planning on a HKS2.8 stroker and GTRS but if market does well and this world was perfect then Tomei engine lol

Hey guys , i am currently deciding if i should make a purchase on a r34 that was initially an NA R34 but is now running with gtr engine. I am currently worried that the gearbox is not changed and a NA gearbox wouldnt last very long on a gtr engine. Or does the gtr engine does not fit into a NA gearbox. Anyone has any experience in this? Are there anything that i should be worried of besides the gearbox, that the gtr engine is transplanted into a NA chasis ?

Thanks

ps : does anyone know the history of a white 34 with plates WNR343* ? IE such as accidents and so on...
the owner is a fren of mine. using rb25det gearbox. 101% accident free, the 1% is for calarless. the brakes been upgraded to brembo large front 4-pots n rear baby 4-pots. original BNR34 allround bodyparts. rear fenders fibreglass but perfect, very smooth. very clean interior n many xtras... car at ampang korean village. the rb26 is from bcnr33 halfcut.

Hello PIMPIN.. hows it going?
If I were you mate, and if this is my first time owning a GTR, Id recommend (as recomended by other before) to give it at least a year or 2 to enjoy the RB26 as it is, get to know the feel and see what it has to fully offer before u do a transplant of something totally different, like a HKS or Tomei 2.8. It will truly be a waste, and a loss of the full RB26 Nissan Skyline GTR experience.. :)

Ahh okay, thanks for the reply raptorie, looks like my thread has been hijacked ! LOL i was reading and reading, and for a second, i thought i was reading a wrong thread,

Anyway... its the gtt now, as it needs to be a daily also
sigh :Not_Impressed:

Hey Liner mate, I also forgot this was ur thread to begin with, sorry about that -got terribly distracted! hehehe...

So its a GTT then eh? Alright then mate, as long as its not something else.. :P just be sure you drop by for the TTs.. would be good to meet up.

haha thats okay, yea.. gtt it is.. where you guys have TT's ? i realize the the rb20's and 26's have more "roar" sound to the engine note. but not the 25's
I love that roar sound... lol

Hey Russ,

You always seem to msg me when I'm at work hey.. Don't know what I'll do really, as of now its making 300+ at the wheels on 0.8 bar so i guess a re-tune and up the boost is first priority. Then going to sort out the suspension, most probably go for Tein Mono + EDFC (again! - third set so far) and then start to explore rebuild. but thats pending completion of my spec-c's rebuild anyday now. ive even had to change the brakes to 6pot/4pot endless cause ive gotten used to the gtr's brakes. so i guess i'll have to figure out how to pay for the rebuild as well!

catch u soon on msn dude, later. i think we've hijacked this thread enough hey.

Hey Liner, send Cheaka or Skagee (moderators) a pm and they'll let you know when is the next meet-up and where! :) Im sure your's will have a mean 'roar' to it too.. :P

Pimpin: Sorry dude, didnt know u were an R33 owner before..
Have u ever tried the TEIN type flex (twin tube) with comparison to your monoflex? Ive heard that monoflex is a little too stif for our excellent roads.. :P

Monoflex rocks dude, esp on Msian roads.. but only when you have a female passenger beside you

woot
