GTI , Putra , EG6 ?

eg6 is better....i have no chance to have honda civic .. if i got the chance .. eg or ek no regret......
search for those well keep car...
10 yrs car doesnt mean is not good...

yeah eg6 is powerful but the only thing i dont like is its interior, very old and ugly

1998 to early 2001 = MMC ecu ---> more flexible if u wanna play around with performance gadget such as SAFC or E-Manage.
Mid 2001 onwards = Siemens ECU...very restrictive and do not perform as well as MMC

the interior of the eg6 is not ugly la.. different ppl have different opinions though...
the gti's mmc and siemen's ecu.. both have different erm.. good points..
not to say siemen's cant perform...
im sure there's a reason why proton made it as the OEM ecu.. plus u can always go to R3 for support..
but if u ask me.. i'd still get the one with the MMC ecu.. kekeke..

My advice, better go for GTi. Newer car, recaro seats, better interior, better exterior looking, more sporty / 'corporate' look, not so look like racing car, easier + cheaper maintenance, better interest rate etc. As for the powertrain, if u want to stock standard also not bad. 1.8cc DOHC, not too bad actually. Can use the Matspeed J5 ECU (minor mod). But better keep it stock, since petrol price is killing nowadays. And don't need to worry people to cucuk u that much, which resulted to more $$$ savings in term of FC, wear & tear etc.

As for EG6, it's old car, hence more $$$ to maintain. Bare in mind that Honda parts are not cheap (taken from my current experiences maintaining the Accord Euro R!), higher interest rate (for >10 years old car), EG6 car looks more like "racing" car on the road; not so 'corporate' look, loud exhaust, vtec powered engine which proved not so FC economical, donno the modification history by the previous owner (since as we know Honda block was too 'soft', tend to easily pecah), etc.

For me, due to this current "stressing" global economy condition, better play safe. Use that something that is really worthful for money. Moreover, how fast you want to drive now?. 200kmh, 250kmh, 300kmh?. Or just a normal 90kmh/120 kmh in order to save more petrol & $$$. U still can reach your destination, maybe with at least 15min late only, right?.

Other than that, can use whatever surplus u have by buying or investing in something that are appreciating, not depreciating. By end of the day, this will increase the 'shareholder' (u la) wealth & reserve. Hence, u will getting richer & richer...

IT's 'corporate' looks, not corporate looks. 'Corporate' looks means something is fair / normal looks.. enough to see.. something which is not like a 'bad' car or something. The Gti didn't look so simple like stock standard wira 1.5 (with stock rims) & not too 'brutal' looks like some modded Turbo GTi with etc.

I guess my company's dress code for Coporate looks is for fair / normal looks.... I guess t-shirts and jeans also can be categorized as corporate looks if it's fair / normal looks... i guess Proton Perdanas and Camry are Business Looks? .... or was it for Corporate Looks? i guess can also be corporate looks if dat's d case.. coz they all look fair and normal
