gti clutch plate

need some info ...

I planning to change my GTI's clutch plate , can anyone suggest what is the suitable and smooth clucth plate ? BTW wwhich is the best gear oil ....full sentitic or semi sentitic ?????

Actually , i was planning to change MMC clutch plate but some says it is very hard to press ,,, is it true ???

Actually dude...

MMC is made by Daikin - Exedy.

It's more expensive. If you want standard and nice feeling then just go standard replacement - Daikin. But beware of imitation. I was warned by people about imitation in Malaysia. How to see I dunno - but best you get from reliable people. I got mine from Singapore. You can go to real good dealers in Singapore. You can save atleast RM 100 if you buy in Songapore.

If you have more budget and want perfrmance then it shall be the 3 puck semi racing type. It's slightly more then RM 1K. There are 2 types - racing and semi. Semi is slightly softer but still hard. All depends on what u looking for. I would personally go for std.

my gti clutch pedal feel quite ringan when depress...sometime the pressure is quite low...like light la....doesnt feel rite la...why arrr ? mileage just over 45k only. especially when just starting d car...

opss forgot to add, u want exedy me got semi racing, rm 900. btw my current clutch is standard.

Do i need to change the pressure pump as well ? I really need the info's as i'm very new to modifications . It will help me a lot
to low end power up my gti ........
