3" CAI (Cool Air Intake) Hose

- Flexible 3" plastic hose to channel cool air into the intake system
- Comes with 2 Bellmouth Funnels to improve airflow into the flexible hose
- 2 mounting brackets to hold the hose or funnels in place
- Hose is stretchable to 1.0 meter long (enough for most cars)

Why do we need to perform CAI modification on our car?


1. Some engines the air filter is sucking on hot air which reduce the performance of the engine, resulting poor combustion. This is expecially true for engines with open-pod filter setup.


2. This flexible hose will help to channel cool air from outside the engine bay into the intake system for better engine performance.


3. Cool air is more dense, hence it is more expandable when burnt with fuel, resulting more power and the engine will experience less preignition/detonation problems.


4. Cool air induction will also help to reduce the fuel consumption as the engine would not need to feed more fuel to cool down the combustion chamber.
