Hi! I recently changed my exhaust, the below is the changes;
1) Rear stock muffler - to sport S flow S.steel muffler. Due to damage internally.
2) Center stock cat and silencer - to sport bullet. Scrap cat becos want better FC and power.
Sound - very little.
Power increase a lot, maybe due to the stock is damage.
I just would like to check with senior owners here, be4 i changed the above, very slow response, no power, but normal auto trans shift.
After changed - very responsive n powerfull. but found that this changes also alter the auto trans shift. Now when the trans shift seem to allow the car more higher rev be4 change to next gear. It is totally different b4 and after the exhaust change.
So is nice when we want to speed
. But when i just want to drive normal speed, it become weird, so u can feel it become slow in the gear shift.
My exhaust guy said that due to the center part change, now the bullet allow the car to obtain higher rev before the gear shift.
Any opinion?
