Exhaust mod on perdana v6

I wonder what do you think about this mod when the piping here is splitted to two and than joined back to one, where else the original piping which is one pipe sharing 2 holes. I feel that after doing this + increasing the diameter to 2.3 really increases the acceleration and a 2.5 inch exhaust with a 4inch tip, what do you guys think about it?

i think this better for high rpm powerband.....

so might increase topspeed or full throttle acceleration.....

a good mod.
like pomen_gtr said, IMO, the 2 pipes from extractor and joined to a bigger pipe is gonna give u better acceleration. and bigger pipe (2.3") will give u top speed..
ur low and mid powerband, im not sure but with the 312 gb, your car's gonna rock..

The downpipe right after the Extractor ? Or just the Rear Pipe after the catalyst Conv. Or the whole thing straight from Extrator to the Muffler? Confused ere. =)

How the fc like? But RM800 was quite a good fetch already..

FC is not that bad actually i think, fucked up driving from jb to kl, 160-220, can clock up to 400km++ on a RM100 tank ron95, but gear 5 all the way, did not down shift, once manage to cloak 300km+ on RM50 ron 95 smooth driving.. the gear 5 acceleration is still much , much better than the gear 4 acceleration on the automatic transmission.

and the acceleration from 0-100 is awesome, i think maybe 6-8 seconds, but im not so sure, need to take a video one day. Now im proud to own a perdana v6. I wish proton would release a new perdana v6 one day with the manual transmission so most of us can enjoy it and also this will reduce the price for the manual gearbox, well high hopes for that.

auto can use this setup but for muffler get a S-flow muffler.
but its also advisable to get smaller diameter piping, for me NA auto, max is 2.2".

Shop name is pemborong exhaust in ampang, i forgot to ask for his shop card. It's near the LRT station, owner is a chinese guy, if you go to his shop he will give you a packet drink.
100 meters away from the shell, the shop would be on your right.. if you want more info please try asking lan eterna, he is also a reputable mechanic in this forum.

i know this shop...it not as big as other shop that claim got stock like a huge hill...


but one thing for sure their welding is quite ok...(atleast not worryingly ugly weld)

My car just finish top overhaul, i wanted to ask, how much does a billion radiator+2 host cost? I felt that i was a bit overcharged,

and i feel a bit less power because this mechanic changed back to the denso spark plug, before i was using platinum, how much difference would an iredium spark plug do compared to the original one?
