Hey guys, just came back from checking out that black GTA again. I got a mechanic to go with me the last time to check her out and he gave me the "thumbs up" after inspecting her.
But this time, when I started the car from a cold start, I noticed that the engine warning light didn't come on at all. All the other warning lights came on and then went off (like normal), but not the engine warning light. When I asked the salesman about it, he didn't really have an answer for me. Is this a common thing or do you think the previous owner was trying to hide something by disconnecting the engine warning light? Should I be worried about something like this cuz truth be told, this is bothering me! But when I took her out for a test drive and such, everything sounded and seemed to be ok....no problems that I could sense, nor any that the mechanic could sense either. I'm really serious about buying this car, but now, I'm very wary and suspicious. Need some advice and help from some of you gurus!
Secondly, after taking it for a short test drive, I parked it and then turned the car off. I looked under the car and noticed something dripping down to form a puddle. Again, I asked the salesman and he said that it was just water from the a/c. The drip was happening right beside the front, driver-side wheel. Was this really water from the a/c or something else?
Ok, guys, seriously need your input and advice on this one. Thanks again fellas and hope to hear from you guys soon!
