While that may not seem like an anorexic car, it does still weigh in reasonably lighter than its peers. Keep in mind too that it will be powered by a 550hp supercharged V8, giving it a power-to-weight ratio well within the Lotus mantra.The Esprit is also one of Lotus’s ideas to more than double sales from 3,000 units a year to 7,000 units. On paper, the five concepts look more than capable of living up to expectations but the question dos remain, for a company of Lotus’s size, is the jump in sales units a bit too wide?
