I suggest you try Q8.Best of the lot.Alot of motorsports fellas also using.120bhp below try 10w-40 or 5w-40.If engine got more power put Q8 F1 10w-50.Very smooth.

:smile: Thx for the advise bro..., can consider that also :smile: ...i heard that this kind of rare engine oil e.g Q8 (kuwait oil), etc must order thru phone right? Not all sparepart shop sells it right? Maybe due to its great mixture/ ingredients i think.... :wink:

As mentioned by bro extemeleo, the number indicates the viscousity of the oil, smaller number for low viscousity (low operting temp) and vice versa (high operating temp)... Btw, what's the first number represents?

20 50W
---------
20 = ?
50 = viscousity
w = ?

actually, the reference temp for the lower number is at 0 degree C, but as we dont have dat kinda weather, yet, i said "in lower temp", or sumthin like dat.. so, the W is the unit of viscousity, google around for more info

okie, there was a crucial mistake made, the symbol W is to indicate dat the oil is suitable for winter/cold weather usage. sorry k, viscosity has no unit

Engine Oil

Hey Guys,

Here are some comments I learn from those Expert. Automotive Engineers designed the engine 1st then only decide what type of Lubricant to use in the engine. So anything should refer to the manual of the car, it usually will state what type of wheather should use what type of viscocity of lubricant, the manual will also tell you what is minimum requirement of the API (American Petroleum Institute) grade.

Never go and fight with the OEM, cuz they are the one who know your engine better that anyone else. And All the OIL company and OEM doesn't believe in Additive or so call oil treatment. Cuz one basic engine oil already have certain content of additive and base oil, if you add another type of oil treatment , it may be spoiled the fomulation of the lubricant.

So which type of engine oil is good for your engine? In USA they always look into the API register logo, U can check whether the lubricant are register under www.API.org. Then you will know which company are under ayam brand and which company are certified.

and i read an article dat stated horrifying facts about synthetic oils; dat not all oils labelled synth r truely synthethics!! shite rite? for a comparison, fully synth made out of PAO & ester costs around 6 times more to a good mineral based oil. and its only purpose is for racing.
iam sure lubrioil isnt of of those listed in the site, but will try to check it out :)
