ek9 need help

need help from sifu's out there...i need to know hoe to check the difference between an original ek9,and the convert 1...how to make sure its the original...have already go thru the net but can't find the info...

sorry im not quite sure..about tag..will it state ek9 at the tag...
and im confused,the chassis number will start with ek9....or how?

My friend EK4 and EK3 all started with EK4 and EK3 accordingly on the chasis code, so I assume it's the same for EK9 as well.

Check the chasis code no. on the firewall, you can't get wrong with that.

The bar in the engine bay should have a tag (Just near ur right headlight). Local EJ is red colour, JDM car all blue. It should have words like EK9. If no tag there, it MIGHT due to this car has a bad acceident and the bar has been replaced!

the registration card must have EK9-xxxx for the chasis code...otherwise it's EK9 wannabe ler....u can change everything u want on the car, but not the registration card...it's like birth certificate...

juz now i went to meet sum1 that told me on the phone dat he got an ek9 and want to sell it..since i was looking for dat car and got nothin to do,i went to see it..when they came they open the hood and there it was,driver side exident..summore the blue tag on the engine bay state its ek4 siR..i told them its not ek9,they still dont believe..can add summore ek9 is 4 door..feel like slapping them..

check the chasis no on the firewall... its shud be EK9XXXXX not EJ9XXXXXX....
but i think EJ9 is more powderful than EK9...
then, EK9 shud have B16B inside, red carpet, red floor mat, momo srs steering, dual airbag bla bla blaa....

Last time I also encountered many sellers who wanna let go EK4, but end up looking at EJ. They will said, "This is ori EK4 never been mod wat, 4 drs .... "
