EK3 Need Help

Hi All,

Sometime last week while i was on the way to KLANG in federal h/way a huge stone fly on to my left tire and crushed the whole under carriage

Oilsump Broken - Loosing Black Oil

I have replaced the oil sump and gasket.. After replaced let the engine idle run for about 20 minutes no oil were leaking, but later after took the car back home let it cool down about a hour and checked the oil level its empty and i noticed there are oil on the floor.

Could anyone of you here may suggest a reliable workshop to get all the affected area checked and also a reasonable workman ship.

Need advise on what are the possible areas that would possibly leak

bro, any good workshop will do. if you wanna extra expertise, u could go to honda specialist such as amoil or avantarde. tomorrow amoil aka jc racing is open. u could go to sunway and ask them to check your car.

but you're using ek3 with d15b right, i guess most workshop could check the oil sump, maybe this time you need to go under the car urself, n check if there is any minute crack that may not be seen with naked eye. spend some time and try to use your hand (if it's not hot) to rasa if there is any crack

btw, how much is the oil on the floor, from the amount of oil you could guess how big is the crack or leak....

lastly....no intention to sell still?? heheheh

Sorry Bro I dont have any intention to sell it, i love EK 2 door to the bits.. Have a huge plans in future for it as i am slowly modding here and there.. I guess its time for a B16B by mid next year..

Sorry Bro I dont have any intention to sell it, i love EK 2 door to the bits.. Have a huge plans in future for it as i am slowly modding here and there.. I guess its time for a B16B by mid next year..

haha.. another b series twin cam vtech member on the road soon.........
for me b18c gsr will more better then 16b for daily use of course 18cR was more best.....

Yeah B18C GSR Will be good but since its from an Integra Chasis and the wiring are different 'i guess' thats why i dont wana SWAP B18C gsr... dont know any workshop around that can do a reliable Engine SWAP which wont coust me any trouble in future. BTW how much is a B18C GSR? I am converting from EK3 Automatic!!
 
half cut would set u back around 8.5k, plus installation and others expect to spend around 12-14k, but that also depends on what you wanna add during the swap

there's nothing wrong to put in b18 to ek, althought different chasis, most of the parts is plug and play for ek... where do you live? sunway got a few good and reliable workshop that could do conversion...

I am from Cheras Bro!! what about the wiring?
 
wiring is about the same.... no need to kahwin one, if you get halfcut, all relevant wires will be used from the halfcut to cut the headache later on...

base on m'sia technology n experience wiring not a problem just depend on wat workshop u have choose n get other good sample of fren car workshop
most of 80% foreman will know how to do it
u just prepare ur pocket with $$ then everything can be settle
$$ can settle thousands of problem but to get $$ thousand of problem will come to u :hmmmm:
