hi,im im new here and need help from u guys...
i just wondering what is the best way to low down e60??
is it ok if im change to the sport spring only??like H&R or sach??and what is the negative effect??for ur information im planning to use 19inchi breyton..

thanks a lot 4 ur help

not too sure about the E60. If it does come with 19 incher as a factory option, go for it. But then you want to lower as well, so have to do something about those arches/fenders of yours. Might have to get spacers for your front wheels as well.

But if the Breyton you're getting aren't exactly the same dimensions as the BMW 19s, then you definitely have to do some modification to the bodywork.

Just cahnging the springs is ok. You won't gain much in terms of performance, but does give you the lowered look and while sacrificing comfort. So which one's yours? Any chance it would be a 545? :D And which breyton you're buying.

edit - change 540 to 545. sorry, keep thinking about e39

Aftermarket springs will kill stock shocks fairly fast.
The most cost effective option is to do both at once.
*psst....it's cheaper in Singapore

I would recommend the brand KW. You wont go wrong with them.
They produce various kits and coilovers.

The e60 looks low even in stock form, are you sure you want to lower it sommore?

If you are driving a 520, think twice before going 19".

For bmw enquiries, would suggest that you go look for the BMW club malaysia guys.
I find Fabian quite knowledgeable.

I'm using KW ssuspension on my E34..for almost 2 years...the absorber gone not so fast..just changed the rear absorber to KONE one...the front still using stock KW Absorber..

Lowering E60...I've seen nice e60 with KW coilovers + 19" inchers......
