Hi all,

I am wondering for a FR drift car, front wheel suppose to bigger than back wheel or back wheel suppose bigger than front wheel, or same size? which will perform the best? i c some drift video, front wheel is 15" and back wheel is 14", but when i check about those cars in tokyo drift from
http://www.thefastandthefurious.com/microsite/, it shows both wheel same size, just the front use 19 x 9J, back use 19 x 10J, some is front use 19 x 9J, back use 19 x 11J(350Z).

what is the actual setting for the wheel on a drift car? and what is the different wheel must use on FR or FF? I c some people drift with sport rims infront and back wheel using some wheels like spare besi rims...im modding my FR KE35, hope u guys can help on this, thanks.

in my opinion, u would need more grip on your front tyres and less grip on ur rear tyres. from wut i understand low profile rims (bigger rims) r flatter, so they have more surface area in contact with the road n therefore having more grip. so i guess u shud put the bigger wheels on the front to intentionally make ur rear tyres have less grip than the front.

da ppl drifting in tokyo drift r highly paid professionals n i tink they can drift just about anythin!! ahahhaha. sorry but im not familiar with the KE35, may i know which car is dat? well anyway, i'm no drifter, dats all juz my opinion, hope its correct... tink shud wait for other ppl give advice first.

Erm actually the smaller size for the rear is suitable for those under power car..
larger wheel need more power to put it into spin...so does the wide tires..
for the big sizes and big power output need wider tires,so that it won't spin out...
so its up to the power of your car actually...like UEo who drive AE86, only 185bhp under that hood, wheel sized 14 inch and 195mm of tire width, its perfect combination
