Have anyone here tried by just buying a 12V power supply unregulated from pasar road for only RM300 unit for a regulated/stabilize unit.
Anyway a car battery is DC, there's nothing much to stabilize here.
OK say we want to stabilize the voltage when the alternator kicks in and varying voltage with the engine revs, is it by just adding caps??? i would say no we can't by that.
Adding more caps works for capacitor bank or harmonics filter with variation of caps value.
VS is something in the grey area...what we really need is regulated supply which fix it on a usable voltage so that ECU and sensor would get the accurate signal.
Again....most modern car ECU already got build in regulator to do away with the variation of voltage generated.
So what are looking at here???
