Message: <blockquote data-quote="gunshead" data-source="post: 82467" data-attributes="member: 2932">Now In manual it says radiator + reserve tank is 5 litre of liquid. yesterday I flushed the radiator 1. open screw from radiator 2. took out the reserve tank and pour out water and clean it. open the radiator cap. after all water came out. 3. I start engine while watching the temp. reading on techometer. engine running for 4 mins The temp shows standard at half. My friend said NO water coming out while engine running. Now off engine 4. Fix back the screw for radiator and radiator cap. Fix back the reserve tank.5. Pour 900ml of redline coolant into radiator. 6. Pour 2 liter of distiiled/purified water into radiator. 7. pour 100ml of coolant + 150ml purified water into reserve tank. 8. Take 12" spanar and loosen only loosen the termostat screw. This screw has yellow mark on it. Loosen to release the hot air. I did not remove the entire screw. Then thighten back the screw. 9. start engine 5 mins. Saw temp show normal at half. 10. off engine . saw reserve tank reduced 50ml water. Pour the 50 ml . 11. start engine - 5 mins 12. off engine. no reduce in water. Now my question: a). u see I poured in only 3150ml of liquid only. WHILE MANUAL SAYS IT should have 5 litre. Where is the balance? B). In volvo there is a screw below engine where we must open to relase water those within the engine, cyclider bloack and water pump . This screw will release those water within those inlets. while radiator screw only release radiator water. where is the screw for wira? does it have one? c). Is this procedure/steps done by me is correct? d). if u realize, i did start engine after all water comes out (step 3). If the engine running, by right water moves via water pump , cyclinder, then back to radiator and be cooled then goes back into engine inlets. My water pump is OK, if not long time it`s showing high temp. where is the 1850ml? now that the question tricky did u ppl realize this? I USE waterwetter redline and spritzer distilled water</blockquote>
