in the detailing besides we have experience on which type of buffer to use, which pad, which product to use and alot more. but diluting product in a bottle also very important to detailers. example like dilute how many part (etc 1:3/1:10) stuff like that. so anyone still confused in dilution ratio? to tell you guys the truth, i dont know anything about dilution. i got a chart from google but im still confused :stupid::stupid::stupid:

Example, 1:10 means 1 part of product to 10 parts of water. Say, if you're mixing in a sprayer bottle, you put 10ml of product and add in 100ml of water. Or you can do it the other way around by putting 10ml of product into 100ml of water. To put it even simpler, you pour in 1 cup of product into 10 cups of water. Same goes for 1:4, 1:20, etc.

The confusions normally occurs when mixing shampoo whereby products from the US would state to mix 1 oz of shampoo to 1 gallon of water. The ratio would be 1:128. Since we're using metric scale, that roughly translate to 30ml of shampoo to 3.78 litres of water or around 8ml to 1 lit of water. Since you don't really need it to be exact, you can take that as 10ml to 1 litre of water.
