Difficult cold start

guys, im having prob with my evo 9 during cold start. i need at least 4 to 5 seconds cranking before the engine will fire up but then it will die off...any idea what contribute to it? dirty MAF? any suggestion who should i go for?
even after warming up, its hard to start the engine @ one crank....its really frustrating here...just got my ride for 3 days n all sort of problems came out...damn...

Check the coils and plugs. Last time my fren's Evo 8 was like that...dirty plugs and kaput'ed coils. After changing those 2 items, everything was ok :) Before buying the coils, try swapping with a fren first. Those things aint cheap man!

Ong...if not mistaken...your car now using MOTEC M800 issit??? better check/retune on idle tuning and cold start tuning...
