Dun waste ur money buying the coolant from petrol stations. It is more expensive there. Go to accessories shop or better yet, go to shops that sell lubricants, car parts etc. Dunno on the capacity, but i think u buy around 4 or 5 bottles should be enough.

I do agree with trex. just go to the spare part shop. there's a plenty of coolant there and slightly cheaper too. FYI other items eg. gear oil, engine oil and etc. are also cheaper.

sori...need confirmation...is it true that we need to pour 4-5 bottles of coolant inside the radiator?

i knoe bout spare parts shop.. went there to ask about toyota longlife coolant. RM15/l but not sure how much do i need.. the guy said malaysian weather no need 50-50 mixture, only 1l needed.. can anybody confirm?

actually it depends on the type of coolant u buy. Read the instructions for it, there are some diluted kind which u cannot add water and there are some concentrated kind which have to add water. As for the guy, he is wrong as the reason we put coolant in Malaysia is not for antifreeze purposes but rather for its anti rust properties.

not all 4-5 bottles into the radiator. Normally i would use about 3-4 bottles into the radiator, add water till full then use the last bottle in the radiator reserve tank and add water there too...

Any types of coolant for specific car ??? Turbocharged car...Racing cars....normal usage car.....

toyota longlife coolant can get from PH auto.. RM15/l.. gonna buy 2 bottles.. assuming gti's rad is 6l
