hehe..you always have this weird computer problem. Try using the device on different port of your motherboard. Your device may requesting more voltage that the current usb port capable of supplying that it may have already supplier to others. Also you may have a faulty device as well.

Max power per USB port is 500mA only. If u exceed, this message will appear.

Best not to plug USB scanner and USB printer together unless u have an externally-powered USB hub.

i think you might have to buy USB port hub that comes with a power adaptor. hope this solved ur problem.

VR4 and Prelude venture into HCC.

Yu, base on acbc and mrbear's suggestion, you need to get this.

4 USB at mother board at the back are using key board, mouse, black & white printer & colour printer, another 2 extra (A) USB at mother board conected to the back are not using, but this 2 has light on it. 2 more extra USB at mother board conected to front for h/p & game use, normally only using key board & mouse USB only, the message show up at this time, the others USB is not on. once again, thanks a lot.

Yu,
A motherboard that comes with USB channel usually has 2 ports per channel. They have limitation of the voltage to supply. You can try load balancing by using those high demand device on different channel instead of same channel diff port.

Yu,

Try getting a USB hub with 4 ports. Look for those "Star Design" (easier to connect devices with more space). I bought RM8 @ Sri Computer, Low Yat (USB2.0). Orange colour and Made in China. But may not be lasting...

Then connect the good port to hub and the rest of the devices to the USB hub. Sometimes, the USB port at the MOBO could be faulty. Hence, you need to troubleshoot every port to see whether it is working.
