Clean off metal deposit from your engine that can cause failure oil pump which can lead to more trouble.

Oil pump is 1 of the important part to your engine and it's like coronory bypass valve in your heart.

Good oil supply to all moving part is very important that using expensive engine oil.

From intake of the oil pump, oil get through engine block to engine cylinder head rocker amr, cam, valve lifter, cam bearing, turbo bearing, crank bearing, conrod bearing, oil filter, dry sump and etc.

Inside the oil pump, got piston as big as your thumb where it works to pump the engine oil to all moving part. Usually engine with unbalance engine due to disorder of conrod bearing and crank bearing cause by friction. Friction may made metal deposit where it should be stuck inside the oil filter. When the metal deposit is too fine, oil filter fail the filter the metal deposit and it will be pump up by oil pump. In long peroid metal deposit will be in all area of engine moving parts where sometimes it can easily be dump when changing the engine oil.

The sad news, some metal deposit stuck in certain area that can't easily dump when the engine is not moving (when the time you change you engine oil)

So.. to solve the problem some aftermarket or original manufacturer take positive action by adding magnet at the drain screw. Example like "SPOON" magnetic oil sump drain screw and Perodua kembara gearbox drain screw.

To make it more trapped metal deposit inside your oil filter, magnet can be place at you oil filter and wrap it with heavy duty tape and of course the magnet have to be outside of the oil filter.

You also can put magnet before or after your air filter, carburetor of fuel injection, petrol and diesel.

These tips will keep the prolonging of your engine.

Happy DIY and mind my grammer mistake.

I think it would be better if we could DIY some sort of solenoid to charge as a magnet instead of using HDD magnets coz i know after awhile it will not be as effective as it looses all the magnetic charges... Just an idea though? Any other inputs?

You're talking about the "Blow By" kaa??

Positive Crankceas Ventilation invented byPierre Positive.. for better POWER..haha mostly peolpe put carburetor fuel filter between the PCV and Rampipe..
