Car tire choice...

Frankly, tyres that seem to last a lifetime isn't good tyre. It may save you a couple more months or years before you change, but this simply means the wear rate is extremely low, therefor the grip isn't good. My friend use to have a set of Sime Tyres Monza HR7 which after 2 years still look like its new. The grip was extremely awful and you get tyre lock ups almost as though you were using F1 brakes. The tyres were finally changed after the car was involved in an accident whereby my friend failed to brake in time and smashed into a car in front.

proxies RA-1.. slurp~

prodigy: yeah very true, the sime tire on my dad's car is the same too. over 1 year already, still look like new, but then so easy to skid the tire, easily loose traction. imagine launching at 2k rpm at traffic light one go let off all the clutch then it spins already.

however, if you don't speed over 70km/h, never corner faster than 30km/h, not only you obey the 2 second gap with the car in front but you give it 3 second, and brake 50meter before any corner, then go for sime tire :D
