Example for a direct question it is more effective and sensible to PM because your message could get lost in a long thread. Another example is to gather opinions, it is best to just start a new thread so that everyone can see it and reply to it. Asking where a shop is located is quite a good idea. It is probably located on our street maps and on the Internet. However, that is not going to tell you things like:a. That place is often "jam" from time A to time Bb. There is road closurec. I've got an alternative route to teach youd. They recently moved last weeke. Speed traps near theref.
