just curious.
i see that in US, many Supra 2JZ or Skyline RB26DETT guys go for Trust/Greddy single big turbos like T-78 or T-88.i always heard that ball bearing turbo is better, and as i know the Trust T series turbos r non b.bearing(sourced from mitsubishi turbos). so why they don't go for ball bearing big single like HKS T series (Garrett sourced)?any good explaination?pros and cons on ball bearing and non ball bearing?
for big cc, 6 cylinders engines like Supra 2JZ and Skyline RB26DETT,if the goal is to get high bhp/top end power, which turbo configurations are better? twin turbos or single big turbo ? im very confused.some use twin turbos like 2JZ with twin HKS GT 3037 or twin GT2835 for big bhp.and some prefer big single turbo like HKS T-04R, T-04Z,T-51 or Trust/Greddy T-78 and T-88 to get the big bhp.
and if twin turbos configuration is chosen, and if external wastegate is required, must use to external wastegates or use only one external wastegate?
thank u.
